![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I've only tested this in my Nokia 7 Plus, but it might work in other OZO-supported devices. I ported a few codes into the Nokia Recorder app v8.1030.40 to enable support for OZO audio recording. Which is probably the bit that makes it turn Ozo on. StringBuilder sb = new StringBuilder(35) MediaRecorder mediaRecorder2 = this.f3115i The file C0939c.java has in the "public void mo4303a(int i, String str, Context context)" part the following lines: I've found a few lines having tried a search. This might explain why the Google system app is only passing through mono if it thinks that is all the phone is capable off.ĭoes anyone know what function call the modded app is using to get the Ozo audio? I presume it is using setAudioSource() or something like that but I've never written an Android program so really don't know. I wonder if the 8.1 phone is reporting to the operating system that it is mono but if a certain system call is invoked you actually get Ozo stereo. The Hi-Q audio app (available on the Play store) will record stereo from the 7.2 but will only record mono from the 8.1, and it says the 8.1 doesn't support stereo after it does some self checks. My dad has a new new Nokia 7.2 and this modded app only records mono I have discovered, whether the google system app has microphone permission or not. What I find odd is that the 8.1 (which I now have) will record Ozo stereo using the modded app here but only if the Google system app is denied use of the microphone. ![]()
